Re: Sage's Gallery
I really like your "death the kid" but the lilith needs to be blended alot more, needs to have alot more flow and the lighting is very over powering and often doesn't look good in the center of the tag

Re: Sage's Gallery
Well, your first problem is quality of render. The death the kid one is of extremely poor quality, second one is okay.
Next is colors. Now I'm no expert. Most of my tags lately have been extremely monotone, but I can say that the top one is too drab. The only color besides the red in the text effect splatters are his eyes, but I don't see any yellow in the rest of the tag. Maybe add a little more color. The text is also out of place for the style of tag this is. If it were a 2d style then it could work, but I see a c4d or something back there, which really makes the splatters seem out of place. . .
Second one, again the colors. The fog or whatever seems really out of place with the colorful render. I also see some shine on her glasses, so I would say this render would work better with a colorful, bright, sunny tag.
The size of your tags is not to my liking either. I like to be able to see most of the render when looking at a tag. These I can only really see the face, which really leaves little room for you to add effects and such to them.
That's all I've got hope you keep going, your improving.

Re: Sage's Gallery
i'm always pick when choosing the dimensions of a sig.
anything that isn't at least three times longer than it is tall seems too square, anything that is over 200 pixels tall seems too large, and anything past 500 pixels wide seems too long. am i crazy?
there's no fog on the second one. i desaturated the bg and put a pinkish-red gradient overlay above it. -not that it matters
i know the text looks really bad. i just felt like i had to put something there because it felt empty.

Re: Sage's Gallery
I use 150/400 for most of my signatures, you might want to try that.
No fog? What was the bg?

Blending, as the name suggests, and in this case, is basically blending the focal with the background. However, doing it too much could make it actually the background
It really depends on what style your sig is (smudge, c4d, vector, etc.). To get a great blending, your render should be high quality, and it should have no rough edges.
If you have a rough edge anyway, you can blend it by either
1. Smudging it a bit
2. Putting a c4d, while making it still look cool and natural (kinda hard IMO)
3. Making nice/strong lighting, thus making that rough edge invisible.
Note : For better, more successful blending, the background you are going to use should be a fitting one. Colors can be changed and adjusted, no worries for that. Filling a layer with x color will never or rarely ever give you good results.

Re: Sage's Gallery
They look like randomly thrown c4d's. Adjust the colors at least ffs!
And i lol'd at the badly cut c4d.
The ava is, again, simplistic, but nice, i guess. Work on lighting. Obviously you can not lighten every part of the render, so adjust the lighting on the render by using burn tool

Re: Sage's Gallery
Dude why don't you find a render of c4d's, instead of cutting them yourselves?
Really, there are like 4000 render c4d's out there.

Dude...
Make a sig from this render
I mean really, do you pick shitty low quality renders on purpose or something?

Re: Sage's Gallery
the avatar one is like pixelated on purpose because it's a sprite from a fighting game.
the sig is just an extremely huge render.
idk what the right size to pick is >.<
i'll see what i can do with that
