Ok so I made a Minecraft sig to start off with:

I like the light effects and the smudging.

It's nice

I would say make some of the other ribbons wrap all the way around the critter, to give it a bit more blending. Maybe make them extend a bit around the rest of the tag.

what's with the supposed to be focal pixelated unclear unknown thingy?

and the bg is pretty simple, is that smudging? ripple? ocean ripple? distort?
