I know it's monotone, but is it any good?

It's awesome alright. I loved that you listened to my advice and actually used burn.

The flame on the right is cool. The text is fine, but the placement isn't that good. It distracts from the focal.

Okay, about the text. Where else would it look better? I tried to incorperate it a bit more with some effects around it like you do, but it turned out a bit cheap.

And I can see how burn/dodge helps. I friggin love this style.


EDIT: And thanks for telling me how you did the flame in that one of yours. For some reason I never used parts of other images in my tags. . .

Most fractals with flame-like look give the kind of effect you see in your tag.

Also, about the text, close to the shoulder, or on the shoulder itself.
But, since the whole tag is monotone, putting the text there might not be very visible (it's not very visible now for that matter xD)

but yeah, it looks nice
