i don't really like them because the colors don't "pop." the green and blue aren't bright enough (imo)
also, the power level one looks like it lost quality.

The first one is saved as .jpg so it's lost it's quality. It's a nice concept but I'm not feeling it either,
Second one I don't really like. Looks too simple and low quality, sorry.

not all .jpg's are low quality though. sometimes they're look the same as .png's

Only when uploaded as .PNG.
TinyPic example upload .PNGs as .JPG. They are the only exception I know of, but they do lose quality which I've noticed because when something is saved as .JPG it's slightly compressed and degradation is usually obvious. It also continues to permanently decrease the quality every time it's edited and saved as a .JPG. But yeah, I think there will be some exceptions such as image hosts, but saving as .JPG DOES reduce quality.
