Transformers and Star Wars

Under each of these, I'm going to try to cc them a bit before you guys get ahold of them, especially Gogeta :P


First one

1. Text is difficult to read.
2. Lighting layer is too strong on the top right corner
3. It's a bit busy and has restricted depth
4. Render is mildly difficult to make out through the c4ds

Second one:

1. Font on the text could be improved
2. Horizontal fractal doesn't co the same direction as the flow of the tag
3. There's an ugly black part of the clipping mask on the left side of his head

Before i start, i have to say i like them much more than your previous work

1.Too bright. Use Curves and Levels adjustment layers to tone it done a notch
2. as you said, the text is hard to read, you do not want the text to blend in too much with the background, as it will become unreadable. Google for Photoshop Typography Tutorials, there are some amazing ones
3.darken the sides and blurred parts. bluring/sharpening is only 50 pct done job
4. don't brighten the render up. that's not a way to make it stand out

2nd sig

1. I Love the concept on this one
2. i didn't notice the black thing until you mentioned it, but, you can easily remove it, dunno why you did not
3. the only thing to improve on this tag is to darken the sides, maybe lighten the render (use dodge to lighten SOME parts, and also don't forget to sharpen it



Good job, sorry i could not have made a more detailed C&C i am writing from my cousins notebook and it's extremely hard for me to write
