Here is my quickfix photo editing tut. It will teach you how to get rid of annoying and intrusive entities in your pictures. We're going to be using GIMP. I assume it's about the same for photoshop?

Here's What we'll be editing in this tut.
[Pic Tut] Quick Fix Photo Editing Streets

First. Open our image, and select the Stamp Tool. Then Select the Big Fuzzy brush.

Next. Hold down CONTROL (ctrl) and click anywhere on the pavement close to where you want to erase the line.

You Should end up with something like this.

You can mess with the size of the brush and try it with different brushes as well.

Now lets put that tree BEHIND the wall using the same method

After[Pic Tut] Quick Fix Photo Editing 93168446

Next we'll get rid of this plant in the corner.

After [Pic Tut] Quick Fix Photo Editing 82383968

END PRODUCT: [Pic Tut] Quick Fix Photo Editing 51022247

This isn't the perfect image. There are some smudges, some discolorations, and other technical stuff. But that can easily be remedied by being a little more careful with the stamp tool or by using the burn and blur/sharpen tools.

Hope the tut helped you out a little, and maybe you learned something.
+rep if you liked it <3

    CS5:
Clone Stamp Tool (S) > Alt+Click on source > Draw
    That's basically it. :D

I saved up for a year and a half to buy CS5. :P Ahhh, the now-forgotten joys of below-minimum-wage work... $0.73 an hour, to be exact. Highway robbery, I tell you, highway robbery! xD Though I must say, it's worth it.
