How do you Render?

So as I was cutting myself out a picture today, I wondered if anyone else does it or just get precut ones from places like PR.

So do you cut your own renders? Have you ever cut your own render completely and saved it outside the piece your working on?

I know i still have my first crop somewhere!! i dont know where though
I tend to just use the eraser tool cuz i dont like the grainy edge that the magic wand tool gives you

So do I, but it still seems to get a rough edge on it and it looks a bit crappy when I try to blure it down a bit lol.

What kind of brush do you use?

soft brush to get the bug chunks and the hard brush around the edges

I use the polygone lasso tool to get the majority out of the way and then the lasso tool to get the bits i missed.

I clear out the majority, use the hard brush aroudn edges, then select and refine.

i use the polygonal lasso tool and the eraser.

I use magnetic lasso tool to get whatever curves i can.
Then use pen tool and lasso tool with rarely eraser (soft brush)
