This is possibly the simplest tutorial I will ever give, but it's a helpful thing to learn.
Linking images is extremely simple, and could be used for a variety of things, including:
-creating galleries (tutorial in the making)
-adding links from your signature image to your webpage
-the mods/admins/whatevers of this site could add button links to everywhere, instead of just plain text
-make snazzy advertisements for use everywhere on teh interwebz
-waaaaaaaaaaay more! :D It's all up to your imagination.
Note: Cannot be used to defeat giant dragons. You will surely die.
Since I'm too lazy to create a step-by-step tutorial, and it be confusing and time-consuming anyways, I will just give you the below piece of code, and explain it if you can't work it out yourself.
- Code:
[url=YOUR LINK URL HERE[img]YOUR IMAGE URL HERE[/img][/url]
Basically, you have your url. You start your url, and put an image between. Then, you end off the image, so that the end of the url wraps around it. Kind of like a big juicy sandwich. I don't know if that explained things okay, but it's fairly common logic once you get it, and it might be easier to understand for very visual people.
