    I was invited over Deviant Art, and this seemed like a really cool place.

    Little bit about me:
    I use GIMP 2.6, not photoshop. My style usually consists of depth, splatters, c4ds, and effects. I also make text based art and logos. I am from the deep South (notice the use of doin' Hi there, how ya doin'? 4131033149), and really enjoy it. I hope to be here for a long while, hopefully get better with gimp, and meet some really cool people with some great skills.

    Deep south would be Alabama, Texas, Louisiana, Florida, etc. But I'm very aware that there are cracks for photoshop, but I can make a signature in GIMP as easily as people can make one in photoshop, and I can also get better results. I've used photoshop, and although it has better tools, I still like using gimp for the somewhat simple use and the easy to get brushes, texts, and other usable files. Hope that answers your question.
